Some Free Pattern Sheets for Ladies' Medieval Costumes
Notes:
- These are really cutting diagrams, shown as they would be laid out
on fabric to cut them out.
- These are not all really period in cut, though they give a
reasonably period effect when worn. Whether or not a pattern is period
is noted on the sheet.
- No sewing instructions are given.
- Patterns are given in two ranges - Small-average and large-average.
Approximate measurements for fit are given on each sheet.
- Information on appropriate fabric content, color and pattern choices
is given
- Yardages for washable and non-washable fabrics are given
- Necessary notions are suggested
Click on the thumbnail to reach the full size sheet, then select "File
> Print" to print the sheet out. They are sized to print on one
